Mark Hart specializes in insurance coverage claims and litigation, including preparation of opinion letters, interventions, declaratory judgment actions, and extracontractual defense. He also practices in all areas of tort and insurance suits, such as property and casualty, life and health, and professional responsibility. In addition, he represents clients in business tort cases, class actions, and other complex civil litigation. Mr. Hart maintains an active appellate practice, including appeals in the Alabama and federal appellate courts. His client base includes major insurance carriers throughout the United States.
Mark has written a novel titled “Fielder’s Choice” dealing with a high school baseball player’s final season in 1969 Birmingham as he come of age during the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam Draft, and the cultural protests of the era.
