Chris Gill serves as the head of Hand Arendall's Business Section. He practices primarily in the fields of real estate acquisition, development and financing and land use planning. He also has significant experience in the formation of business organizations.
In his practice, Chris has represented the Firm’s clients in numerous real estate acquisition and conveyance transactions involving undeveloped land, apartment complexes, hotels, shopping centers and restaurants. Chris’ land use planning practice involves representing both local municipal planning and zoning commissions and developers who are seeking to obtain the various entitlements necessary to pursue a specific project.
A significant amount of Chris’ practice involves the acquisition, development and sale of multi-family housing projects, with that portion of Chris’ practice being centered mostly on apartment complexes and condominium projects. In connection with his apartment representations, Chris has represented the Firm’s clients in both the acquisition and sale of existing apartment complexes and the financing and development of new apartment complexes. Chris’ work in the condominium arena involves drafting state and federal disclosure documents, forming condominiums, and representing condominium owners’ associations. In addition to these activities, Chris has extensive experience in representing borrowers in commercial loan transactions as well as loan workouts.
